iPad Jamf Self Service

ITS uses an Apple Device Management system called Jamf Self Service to manage the installation of all apps on College-owned iPad devices. It shows up on your iPad as an app that looks like a colorful square.

You should see the Self Service app already on your iPad after you complete the initial iPad setup. In order to install any College supported app on your iPad, follow the instructions below.

  1. Click on the Self Sevice app. Here, you will see several apps for you to install.
  2. Click the install button next to the apps you'd like to have on your iPad

Apps that come preinstalled are listed below.

  • Adobe Illustrator Draw
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements
  • Adobe Spark Page
  • Adobe Spark Post
  • Adobe Spark Video
  • AutoDesk ReCap Pro for Mobile
  • Camera Lucida (13 licenses on Classroom and Conferencing Technologies Loaners' only)
  • CBS News Live
  • Dropbox
  • Echo Meter Touch Bat
  • Edpuzzle
  • Explain Everything Whiteboard
    • Licenses for the paid version of Explain Everything are provided by ITS under our subscription and can be installed on College-owned devices. To request access, please contact ITS at support@swarthmore.edu.
