Getting Started

Go to firefly.adobe.com (VPN not required).
Sign in with your Swarthmore Google account.
Enter a description of the image you would like to see.
Firefly will provide several options. From here, click on an image to see additional refinements or use the tools to adjust the style of the image.

Note: As of April 2025, Firefly has a video generation option, but Adobe is not offering it to educational accounts. Each user has a limited number of credits per day. Typically this can be used to generate hundreds of images, but there is a limit.

If you have issues with permissions such as a “Can’t Access” error, try a different model. Some models are considered premium and aren’t available to Swarthmore users.
