Audio Recording & Podcast Studio
About
This space features a microphone and audio interface that can be used to record voiceover, sound effects, and musical instruments.
It also features an audio mixer, 4 microphones and headphones, and a computer to record and edit your podcasts or conversational recordings through Adobe Audition, Garageband, or Audacity. You may also export your recordings to the computer, save them on an external hard drive or cloud storage such as Google Drive, and edit them on your own computer or at the Language Center and Creative Media Commons.
Location and Scheduling
Located in Martin Hall 133
Booking blocks of time to record:
- 1 hr slots up to 3 hrs
You may reserve more time after your session if you need to make additional recordings.
Reserve recording sessions at:
- Swat Central Express Scheduling (log in with your Swarthmore account)
- Within the Swat Central Dash, locate the Express Scheduling block
- Within the Express Location field enter the room number: Martin 133
- Select your date, times, and duration and click Save.
