Editing the Profiles & Contact Information of Others

Overview

By default, every Swarthmore College faculty and staff member has the ability to adjust their personal contact information at MySwarthmore → Main Menu → Directory Information, as well as their personal Drupal Profile & Supplemental Contact information. That said, some staff members have been granted access to manage the contact information of others.

Editing the Drupal Profiles and Supplemental Contact Information of Others

  1. Make sure you've logged in to Drupal.

  2. Navigate to the site where you have permission to edit fellow staff profiles, under My Sites in the upper left corner.

  3. Hover over the yellow Site Administration area of the toolbar to reveal additional options.

  4. Hover over Edit Profiles in the drop-down menu (if you have a large number of staff members it may be easier to click the Edit Profiles option to view the full list).

  5. Choose the person whose profile needs editing. Note: If a person does not appear on the list, but you think they should be on the list, please contact support@swarthmore.edu with a detailed message.

  6. From this point on the process is identical to that of editing your own profile
