As part of the Textbook Affordability Program (TAP), the Bookstore is making many textbooks available online through Moodle using the VitalSource service. This e-books program is called TAP+. You may see a link in your course to TAP+ Books. This is how you and your students can access the e-books.

Adding a link to VitalSource

If your course uses a VitalSource e-book, adding a link in Moodle will give your students access to the content. To add a link:

  1. Turn editing on
  2. Add an activity or resource
  3. Select VitalSource
  4. Give the activity a name such as “TAP+ Books”
  5. Click Save and return to course
