While it is possible to store media projects on Google Drive, doing so is not optimal due to the large number of files generated while editing. One cannot edit a media file directly from Google Drive - this means that each file would need to be downloaded to a local device before being used in a video edit or animation. Storing media files on Google Drive can add hours of work to your media project. However, uploading files to Google Drive as a backup, and using it as a location to store and share your final products, is a great idea.
