Follow these steps to activate the Panopto Block in a Moodle course:
- Go to your course and click the "Turn Editing On" button (top right)
- If the left menu is not already expanded, use the hamburger menu on the upper left of the screen and expand it. At the bottom of that menu, click "Add a Block"
- Select "Panopto", wait a few moments and the block will appear on the top right of the course page
- Click on “Provision Course” and look for a message “Successfully provisioned course with id: [a long string of numbers and letters - each course will have a different set of numbers and letters]”
The addition and provisioning of the block are critical as this is what allows Panopto to automatically link to any recordings you make for your course
